Last spring, Nikki Beckett vanished, sucked into an underworld known as the Everneath. I didn’t quite get who Mary was, but it was obvious she was someone with information.

They struggle to ward off advances from the other male love interest, but because of factors out of evereath control this is called a plot people!
In the beginning I was a bit confused with all of the terminology. She is currently working on her teaching credentials so she can teach high school English. You get glimpses of the past events that led up to her decision, throughout the story. This is more of an Orpheus and Eurydice retelling, with a random “love triangle” thrown in.
People healing, people trusting, people trying to tear that all down again. I Spy Little Hearts. I had no problem rooting for Nikki and Jack.
This Provo book group has been together 17 years. I could’ve faced you and yelled at you. Everneath This book follows Nikki, who gave up her summmary on earth because of a broken heart, after a century of being locked up in the everneath,the underworld.
Though there are many issues and hurt and misunderstandings between them, they eventually begin to come to terms with all of it together because, as much as Nikki tries to stay away, she can’t deny that her memories of Jack were what kept her sane and whole in her time in Everneath.
Book review: ‘Everbound’ is an appealing sequel despite its over-the-top love story
I love me some Diet Coke. The book evernearh cleverly written and the reader is stuck from the first page, it is an easy read but when you look back on the characters they are surprisingly complex.
Or how about getting lost in his glorious deep eyes, that also happen to be the exact shade of the darkest pits in hell? The ending was heartbreaking and leaving the reader wanting more, but still with a great amount of hope that things will get better. It’s the world caught between this one and the next, a layer between Earth and hell.

It’s very evasively written. Flanking her on either side are two very different boys with two very different motivations.
Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton
I have been sad the entire time I’ve been reading this! She is convinced that her only chance to rescue him is to get back, somehow, to the Everneath. Jack never gave up on her. We have all sorts of YABC buttons for your website. It worked quite well and there were never instances where the switching between times was annoying.
This book has basically everything that I’m looking for.
And speaking of Jack, he had some elements of a great love interest, but he was a little too conflicting for me to buy into. Well, I’m introducing a new saying: Jack is my least favrouite character, I think in this book he dragged Nikki down. I feel somewhat guilty that the characters of Jack and Cole kept making me think of Dank and Leif from the Existence trilogy, because this was a huge hurdle for summaary to get over, considering how I wasn’t a big fan of Existence.
