The other rods were very tip actioned with little middle action and there is always the chance of a decent chub popping up where I fish along with barbel though to be honest you’d do well to land one on the tackle I mentioned.

For trotting on a pin, I personally prefer a very forgiving and much more through actioned rod but it’s all down to personal taste, it’s whatever you prefer that counts. A lot of people these days have a BA.
All times are GMT. All of the other series compteition range has been really good so far so i doubt they’d break the mould with those rods. Im tempted to get one at some point.
The most important bit of kit never to forget – a disgorger. Drennan have just started doing some series 7 reels reels at a very reasonable price to go with there series 7 rod range, it might be worth looking to see if you can frennan the perfect combo.
